Sinai Desert Adventure
Sinai is one of the most beautiful regions in the Middle East. Day1: we meet you on arrival at Cairo airport and transfer you to a city
center hotel for 2 nights. The remainder of the day is at
leisure. Day2: Full day guided tour includes visits to the Egyptian National museum, the pyramids and sphinx at
Giza and the Khan el Khalili bazaar. Return to the hotel for overnight. Day3: we depart from by jeep, accompanied by our bedouin driver/guide, and travel eastwards towards Abu Zenima and wadi Matulla to serabit el Khadim. Lunch included en-route. We set up camp at serabit el Khadim for 2 nights, Dinner. Day4: Full day excursion takes us to Rod el Air, the temple of Hathor, wadi Chredj, wadi Ba-Ba and Bir el Nasb. These are some of the most beautiful valley in the area. Return to Camp for dinner and overnight. Day5: We continue towards wadi seih, where we stop for a visit to the tomb of Sheikh Habus, wadi Mukattab( early
Coptic inscription) and wadi feiran before reaching the 6th century monastery of
Saint Catherine. Set up camp. dinner. Day6: Those who wish may join an early morning hike to the summit of Mt. Sinai to watch the sun rise over this mountainous landscape. After returning to the camp for breakfast we then visit the medieval monastery. We then
continue to Blue Mountain before driving through wadi safra to Nawamis. Our overnight camp is at the small oasis of Ain Hudra( Hazerot in the Bible) Day7: A spectacular day as we walk through the yellow canyon and then drive along the coast to Nebeq. The route continues to wadi Chereza and wadi qenai to the blue Hole. Dinner and camp. Day8: We relax at the fascinating submarine world of the Blue Hole during the morning with ample time for a swim or snorkel. Lunch is included at Ras Abu Galum. We then drive via Nuweiba to Wadi watir. Our overnight camp will be at the mouth of the
colored canyon. Day9: After breakfast at camp we walk through the amazingly beautiful
colored canyon. Afterwards it’s time to return to Cairo for overnight at our hotel. Day10: We transfer you to Cairo airport for your onward arrangements.
